It's May 1; I think I'll shovel the front sidewalk today.

Happy May Day to all my Iowa peeps!

May baskets in Northwest Iowa this year consisted of ice scrapers and snow shovels.



I would hit the nearest tanning bed if I lived there. Afterall, that's what one "professional" recommended doing in order to avoid the never-ending winter blues.

I feel it's necessary to add that it was 85 degrees in Rock Valley on Sunday.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go lay out. Lynden is pushing 60 degrees today.
