Day 14: Candy is a food group

The cherubs have been busy at work. Hammering tin ornaments, dipping candles, stitching trees...they're like little elves.

And today, during snack, a few of my little elves were discussing a very particular Christmas movie.

Here's what I overheard:

"I'm singing...in a store. And I'm siiiiiiiinging...."

"I like smiling. Smiling's my favorite!"

"You're an impostor!"

Be still my heart. The cherubs are fans of the best Christmas movie ever: Elf.

Oh, Buddy the Elf. What would snowy Christmas vacation days be like without you.

    I love how he answers the phone, "Buddy, Buddy Elf, what's your favorite color?"

    I love the Christmas Story and yes, we have a leg lamp.

    For girl time, Holiday, love the stone house...

    Oh. My. Gosh. As I opened your blog to read your latest post, we are watching Elf. Coincidence? I think not. My fav is "Charlie Brown Christmas".
