It was real touch and go there for a moment, but we're back in blogging business.
Hooray.
Ghetto Barbie has missed the gab.
Anyhoo, yesterday was Christmas in Orange City. A break from tradition. But alas, it was a good day.

This is what the boys did while we ladies cleared the table. What productive folk. No time for rest.
My bros and I had quite the time posing for the "Happy New Year from the Kooistras!" Christmas card 2009. We started with the traditional "Stand in front of the tree covered in snow and smile" pose...
...then we got creative and borrowed a "prop" from the happy children sledding across the street.
"Pushing wishes your way for a happy holiday!"
or
"Don't let the strain of the Christmas season weigh you down..."
or
"Hope you had a ton of fun this holiday season!"
Now before you all think we're awful siblings for torturing our beloved Phil via Christmas greetings, let me assure you he was a very good sport. He was very willing to play along, and let's face it people, he's the star of our Christmas greeting this year. He's like the Baby Jesus of our Christmas card.
Moving on...
Today I spent most of the day with my dear friend, Stacy, and her three little ones.
Check out these lovable faces-

And.......
This is a picture of my mom making almond tarts.

And this is picture of my mom mending the hem on my pants.

And this is picture of my dad fixing a puzzle.

They are the peanut butter to my jelly, and I love them.
Happy Monday!
